Do you suffer from allergies? With three main pollen seasons in the Miami Valley it may seem like spring, summer and fall are a never-ending struggle! The Dayton area is lucky that for several decades the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency (RAPCA) has been keep track of pollen, mold, and air quality. These counts can be helpful in figuring out what triggers your allergies and especially in the summer when air quality is forecasted to be poor.
Kirstie and McCall sat down with Brian Huxtable from RAPCA to learn about how this agency is collecting this important data and what changes and challenges they have experienced in 2020 because of the pandemic.
