DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Sunny skies are expected through the day, along with mild temperatures, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.

Highs will be well above normal and will reach the lower 50s.

Dry conditions continue tonight with temperatures falling into the lower 40s.

FRIDAY: Friday will be the warmest day of the week with temperatures soaring into upper 50s. It will be breezy at times with clouds increasing through the day. Late at night some rain showers will approach from the west.

SATURDAY: Rain showers move through during the day with gusty winds up to 35 mph possible as well. Highs will be in the low 50s in the afternoon.

Showers will taper off into the evening.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with high temperatures around 40. There could be some lingering sprinkles or flurries around at times during the afternoon or evening, however there will be little to no impact on the roads.

MONDAY: A cold morning for the kids getting back to school. Temperatures will start in the middle 20s and only climb to the upper 30s. Clouds will break for some sunshine.
