UPDATE: 1 flown to hospital after 2-vehicle crash on U.S. 127 in Preble County

PREBLE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 9 a.m.:

The driver of a car injured in a crash was flown to an area hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 127 Tuesday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. on U.S. 127 at the I-70 exit ramp involving a car and an SUV. State troopers said an initial investigation found the car was traveling north on U.S. 127 and was hit by the SUV which had just exited from the highway but didn’t stop at a stop sign.

The driver of the car suffered a broken leg in the crash and was flown to an area hospital for treatment however their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash shut-down U.S. 127 for a portion of the morning commute but had reopened by 8:30 a.m.
