Dayton guard Rodney Chatman announced Tuesday on his twitter account that he will be entering the transfer portal.

He said it has been a great three years at Dayton and will appreciate his time at UD. Chatman also thanked all his teammates, coaching staff and Flyer Nation.

Chatman played in only 12 games this past season due to injuries, averaging 7.9 points per game. He led the Flyers with 21 points in their win over Ole Miss on December 19th. Two years ago, Chatman started all 31 games when Dayton won a school record 29 games but did not play in the NCAA tournament due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chatman has not yet announced whether he will play as a grad transfer or professionally.
