Dayton Adds a Transfer from Georgia

Former University of Georgia men’s basketball player Toumani Camara announced that he will transfer to the University of Dayton after entering the transfer portal last week. He will have three years of eligibility for the Flyers.

Camara, a native of Brussels, Belguim, played high school ball at Chaminade-Madonna in Hollywood, FL. He played two seasons at Georgia and last year averaged scoring 12.8 points a game and grabbed over seven rebounds per game. In his freshman year, Camara played against Dayton in the 2019 Maui Invitational and scored seven points for the Bulldogs. UD won that game, 80-61.

Since their season ended, two former Flyers had previously announced they would enter the NCAA transfer portal, Luke Frazier and Rodney Chatman.

Dayton went 14-10 in last season, losing to Memphis in the National Invitational Tournament.
