Dayton Adds an ETSU Transfer

The University of Dayton men’s basketball team has added another transfer to its program. 6′9 forward Richard Amaefule has committed to UD after entering the transfer portal from East Tennessee State on April 8th.

He played one season with the Buccaneers, averaging 1.5 points a game in 19 games and grabbed two rebounds per game last season.

Amaefule is from London and played his high school basketball at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. He is the second recruit from the transfer portal to commit to the Dayton Flyers, former Georgia Bulldog Toumani Camara became a UD Flyer last week.

The Flyers went 14-10 last season, losing to Memphis in the First Round of the National Invitational Tournament.
