— Joe Thuney is a two-time Super Bowl champion at 26.
The third-year pro from Alter High School will get his second ring after the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII on Sunday night.
He also became the first player ever to start three Super Bowls in his first three seasons in the league.
Midway through the fourth quarter, Thuney helped clear the way for the game-winning touchdown, a 2-yard run by Sony Michel that gave the Patriots a 10-3 lead with 7:00 on the clock.
Former Ohio State special teams standout Nate Ebner will get a third Super Bowl ring while former Buckeye John Simon and former Bengals Rex Burkhead and Jermey Hill earned their first.
