The deal will see UD Arena host the tournament the next three seasons, OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass said in a media release Tuesday morning.
OHSAA cited a limited number of dates available in March at Ohio State’s Jerome Schottenstein Center or St. John Arena as a part of the decision to move the tournament to Dayton. Ohio State had hosted the girls tournament 44 of the last 45 years.

The 2021 girls tournament will take place March 11-13.
The boys tournament will still be played at Ohio State’s St. John Arena March 18-20. However the OHSAA noted there has not been a host site selected for the 2022 tournament.
