Ohio State adds two MAC schools to schedule in future seasons

The Ohio State Buckeyes added two Mid-American Conference schools to the 2020 and 2021 schedules Wednesday, completing the schedules for those seasons.

Buffalo will visit Ohio Stadium on Sept. 19, 2020. This will be the second meeting between the two schools. Ohio State beat Buffalo 40-20 in 2013 in Columbus.

Akron will play the Buckeyes on Sept. 25, 2021 at Ohio Stadium. Ohio State leads the series 7-1. The teams last played in 2011.

In other scheduling news:

• Ohio State will play Texas Christian at 8 p.m. Sept. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. ABC will televise the game. The game time was announced Wednesday.

• The dates for Ohio State’s two-game series against Texas have changed. Ohio State will play in Austin, Texas, on Aug. 30, 2025. The Longhorns will play in Columbus on Sept. 5, 2026.
