— The Dayton Flyers and Wright State Raiders would play in the second round of the NCAA volleyball tournament Saturday if they win their first-round matches against ranked opponents Friday.
The bracket was announced Sunday night. Dayton (22-8) will play No. 12 Marquette in the first round, and Wright State will play No. 16 Purdue. Both matches will take place at Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind.

Dayton (22-8) will make its 14th appearance in the NCAA tournament, its second in a row and fourth in the last five years. It is 7-13 in the tournament.
The Flyers earned an automatic berth by beating Virginia Commonwealth 3-2 in the Atlantic 10 tournament championship. Dayton ranks 46th in the RPI.

Wright State (24-5) earned an at-large berth and will appear in the NCAA tournament for the first time. According to Wright State, it’s the first at-large NCAA berth for any program in school history. The Raiders rank 44th in the RPI.
