Dayton Dragons broadcaster Tom Nichols will call his 4,000th career professional baseball game Wednesday night when the Dragons play the Lansing Lugnuts.
Nichols, who also serves as Dayton’s Director of Media Relations, is in his 11th season as the voice of the Dragons. He began his career with the Indianapolis Indians in 1988.

Nichols has worked at all three levels of Minor League Baseball — Triple-A with Indianapolis (1988-89), Double-A with Mobile (1997-2004), Single-A with Kinston (1990), Peoria (1991-92), Fort Wayne (1993-96) and Dayton (2008-present).
