Return specialist Alex Erickson is staying in Cincinnati.
The Bengals today announced the signing of the wide receiver to a two-year contract extension through the 2020 season. He was entering the final season of a three-year deal.
Erickson has played in all 32 of the Bengals’ game since he signed as college free agent out of Wisconsin in 2016. He was the team’s top punt and kickoff returner the last two seasons. His 27.9-yard average on kickoffs in 2016 led the AFC and ranked second best in team history.
