WEST MANCHESTER, Ohio — Investigators said they reviewed information regarding a description given of the robber. They said the description was similar to that of a woman who deputies had dealt with in a June 2010 case of theft and forgery of checks in Eldorado.
Deputies continued their investigation and made contact with the robber. the woman later admitted to deputies that she was responsible for the robbery and cooperated with deputies.
Nancy Nave was taken into custody and is being held at the Preble County Jail. She was charged with one count of robbery, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of theft.
Nave told deputies that she needed to pay a past-due bill and made the decision to commit the robbery. Deputies said they recovered several pieces of evidence in the case.
