SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — A Clark County woman accused of stealing more than $100,000 worth of bull sperm appeared in court on Tuesday.
Karen Saum pleaded not guilty to theft charges. Detectives said a tip led them to the stolen semen inside her garage.
According to police, the bull sperm was from Saum's former employer, Genetic Connection.
Det. James Hollopeter said, "She knew where this semen would have been located. It was actually locked in an interior closet because it was more valuable that some of the other that they had out."
