WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Expect a mix of sun and clouds as we wrap up the week.
After a chilly start, temperatures will rebound back into the lower 50s this afternoon. Clouds will increase late this evening with rain developing after midnight.
A few thunderstorms will even be possible toward early Saturday morning. Temperatures will initially drop into the upper 40s Friday evening before rising overnight into the first half of the day Saturday.
Strong winds and locally heavy rain will be possible late Friday night into Saturday as a strong cold front passes.
Wind gusts of up to 40 mph or higher will be possible through Saturday. As temperatures drop late Saturday, a few snow flurries or even snow showers will be possible Saturday night. Some flurries may linger into Sunday with highs only in the 30s and blustery conditions.
