More showers and storms to likely to start the work-week

A few showers and storms today through Tuesday, dryer conditions Wednesday. We should see warm and muggy temperatures all week Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

Today: Chance for more showers and storms returns. It won't be an all day rain event, but we will see a few showers and storms. The best chances look to arrive during the afternoon and evening. While the severe threat isn't very high, flooding will be a concern as these showers and storms move through. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 80s.

Tonight: A few lingering showers are expected at times tonight, but for the most part we should see more dry time as temperatures drop into the middle 60s.

Monday: The chance for showers and storms continues to start the work-week. Highs in the lower 80s.

Tuesday: More showers and storms likely with highs in the middle 80s.

Wednesday: We dry out under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid-80s.

Thursday: A mainly dry day is expected. Though there is a slight chance for rain late. Highs will again be in the middle 80s.

Friday: More sunshine is expected. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
