The two candidates for vice president — Mike Pence and Kamala Harris — met Wednesday in Salt Lake City for their only debate as the 2020 election season heads into the final month.
The debate began at 9 p.m.

The debate comes almost a week after President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID-19.

The debate will be divided into nine 10-minute topics. Each cancidate will have two minute to respond to the question in the segment. The topics were not announced in advance as they were for the presidential debate held last week.
Susan Page, the Washington bureau chief of USA Today, will moderate the debate.
