WATCH: Oklahoma City Zoo ultrasound clip offers sneak peek at baby elephant due in 2022

OKLAHOMA CITY — On Thanksgiving Day, animal lovers got a sneak peek at an upcoming arrival to the Oklahoma City Zoo – an elephant calf due in early 2022.

According to KOCO-TV, the zoo took to social media last week to share an ultrasound video of the baby-to-be.

“A tiny trunk and little legs? This ultrasound is ultra-sweet!” the attraction captioned the video in a Facebook post. “The Oklahoma City Zoo is thankful for 25-year-old Asha’s growing Asian elephant calf, due in February 2022.”

The clip quickly went viral, with more than 10,000 views on YouTube and hundreds of Facebook shares.

Asha, already a mother of three, is about eight months pregnant with her fourth calf, KOCO reported.
