WSB reported that a federal judge denied the couple’s request to remain free on bond while they pursue to overturn their guilty verdicts.

The Chrisleys got $30 million in fraudulent bank loans to fund their extravagant spending and lifestyle before they became television personalities.

The couple’s attorney told People magazine that, “Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead.”

Todd Chrisley was sentenced in November to 12 years behind bars and an additional 36 months of supervised release. Julie Chrisley was sentenced to 7 years in prison along with the same 36 months of supervised release, WSB reported.

Todd Chrisley will be held at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. Julie Chrisley will be held at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna, People magazine reported. They begin serving their sentence on Jan. 17.
