Pizza delivery woman suffers seizure while driving, says she now has ‘proof’ of God

FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — A South Carolina woman was on her way to make a delivery for work when she crashed her car and blacked out.

“I remember pulling out of work, but I don’t remember anything else,” Morgan Young told WYFF.

The 21-year-old pizza delivery woman was on her way to drop off an order Sunday night when she suffered a seizure and veered down a ravine, settling in about 4 feet of water.

Corey Eubanks and his brother-in-law, John Paul Abernathy, happened to see the whole situation. They were the only people around, and they rushed to the ravine.

“We were trying to yell out for somebody,” Eubanks told WYFF. “We didn’t hear anything for a few, for a little bit, and then finally we got deeper down in there and we heard the girl screaming ‘help.’

“Everybody’s life is important and I’m not gonna let ... the fears of COVID or anything hold me back from helping someone."

With the help of Eubanks and Abernathy, Young made it to a nearby hospital. Doctors treated her for a head injury she suffered when she hit the windshield.

Although her car is totaled and she cannot drive for six months while doctors monitor her seizures, Young said she has a renewed sense of faith.

“I don’t want to say that I didn’t believe in God or anything, because I did -- I mean, I do. But I legit have proof now,” she said.
