The Powerball jackpot inched closer to half a billion dollars, as nobody won the top prize in Saturday night’s drawing.
The jackpot grew from $457 million to $472 million, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing were 5, 36, 39, 45 and 57, and 11 was the Powerball number.

The next Powerball drawing is Monday night. If someone should win the top prize, a lump sum after taxes would be approximately $342 million.
Meanwhile, there were no top prize winners in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing.
The winning numbers were 4, 13, 19, 63, 54, and 16 was the Mega Ball, lottery officials said.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot will be worth approximately $432 million, according to lottery officials. A lump-sum payout after taxes would be approximately $312.8 million.
The odds of a single ticket winning in Powerball is 1 in 292 million and 1 in 302 million for Mega Millions.
