NEW YORK — Could Joe Biden's selection of U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris as a running mate mean more "Saturday Night Live" appearances for Maya Rudolph? Maybe.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Rudolph, who was nominated for an Emmy for previously playing Harris on the show, was participating in a panel discussion for the magazine Wednesday when she learned that Harris had been tapped as the Democratic vice presidential nominee.
"Oh, [expletive]," Rudolph said, adding that the news was "spicy," EW reported.
"I love going to the show – any chance I can get, I love," she continued. "I just didn't really anticipate traveling during a pandemic, but if there's anyone that can work it out, I'm sure Lorne [Michaels] has some sort of invisible helicopter that can get me there."
