Bobby Herrera, the owner of JCI Pallet, was allegedly caught on video removing seven semi-trailers full of wooden pallets, WFLA reported. Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) said they confronted Herrera with the video, to which he responded, “That looks like me.”

While investigating the case, detectives with the PCSO said they learned Herrera’s manager, Nicholas Howard, was helping him, WTSP reported.

In total, the two are accused of stealing 25 semi-trailers that contained nearly 5,000 pallets, which combined are worth approximately $935,663, according to the sheriff’s office. The victims of the thefts were four businesses, including Walmart, detectives said in a press release.

Investigators say all the stolen trailers were eventually recovered.

Both men have prior criminal histories, including fraud.
