Work is expected to resume after the Memorial Day weekend for about 1,000 employees at the Menomonee Falls engine and drivetrain facility, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. A worker at the plant who tested positive for the coronavirus is expected to recover.

There are about 125 U.S. Steelworkers currently working at the plant.

When employees return there will be staggered start times and barriers between workstations.

“At all of its facilities, Harley-Davidson has implemented enhanced safety measures, protocols to support social distancing and is bolstering its already-rigorous cleaning and sanitation practices,” the company said in a statement.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
