Major Highway Incidents

  • On southbound I-75, south of Dryden Road, Moraine police reported a disabled vehilce on the highway. It wasn't known if any lanes were blocked.

Surface Street Incidents

  • On Dayton Lebanon Pike at Hibberd Drive in Washington Twp., a crash with injuries was reported around 8:15 a.m.
  • On Brumbaugh Boulevard at Free Pike, police reported a water main break around 7:40 a.m. There was no immediate word if the road was blocked.

Ongoing Construction & Other Closures

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • U.S. 35 east and west between Perry Street and James H. McGee Boulevard, Nightly lane closure April 18 – May 31 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • I-75 between Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Nightly lane closures April 18 – May 31 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • U.S. 40 eastbound between North Dixie Drive and Long Street, lane closure April 5 - May 2. One eastbound lane will remain open at all times. They will open the lane on weekends.
  • Yankee Street will be closed between Social Row Road/Austin Boulevard and Spring Valley Pike until April 22 as Yankee Street is widened to three lanes.

     

     

  • The exit ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound U.S. 35 in Dayton is expected to be closed until November.
  • The Webster Street bridge is closed as it is rebuilt. A detour will take motorists to Keowee Street to Monument Avenue. The project is scheduled to be completed in November of 2017
  • East River Road between Dryden Road and Arbor Boulevard, road closed until July 7. The official detour is Dryden Road to Arbor Boulevard to East River Road.
  • I-75 northbound ramp to US 35 westbound, ramp closed until Oct. 31. The official detour is I-75 north to U.S. 35 east to Jefferson Street to Washington Street to Ludlow Street to U.S. 35 west.
  • SR 48 north between Rockridge Road and Hillgrove Avenue, lane closure until July 31. One northbound lane will remain open.
  • Third Street between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Perry Street, lane closures through September. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Frederick Pike between I-70 east and I-70 west, bridge closed Oct. 5-April 6. The official detour for southbound is Frederick Pike to U.S. 40 east to south on Dog Leg Road to west on Little York Road back to Frederick Pike. Northbound detours is Little York Road east to north on Dog Leg Road to west on U.S. 40 to Frederick Pike.
  • I-70 between Airport Access Road and SR 48, lane addition project. Two lanes open in each direction. Motorists will encounter barrels and construction in this area.
  • The ramp from U.S. 35 eastbound to I-75 northbound, ramp closed through September 2017. Motorists will be able to utilize the specially designed U-turn lane located at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit.
  • Robert Drive between Fifth Street and Third Street road closed through September of 2017. The detour is Southbound — Perry Street to Fourth Street, Northbound — Fifth Street to Wilkinson.
  • The First Street, Second Street and Third Street ramps along I-75 northbound and southbound, are permanently closed. A newly constructed ramp is scheduled to open to motorists in the downtown area in December of 2016. The official detour during these ramp closures is: I-75 North to U.S. 35 East to Jefferson Street to First and Third streets. Motorists can also use Main Street or Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.
  • Vista View Drive between Second Street and Third Street, road closed through September of 2017. Detour posted.
  • Red Cross Lane between First Street and Gibbs Lane, road closed through September 2016. The official detour is: First Street to Perry Street to Second Street to Red Cross Lane.

MIAMI COUNTY

  • I-75 at CR 25A (Troy), width restrictions March 29 through Oct. 31. Northbound lanes will be restricted to 13 feet. Southbound lanes will be restricted to 12 feet. Two lanes will remain open in each direction with one northbound lane shifted to the southbound side and one northbound lane operating on the northbound side. Two southbound lanes will also be open on the southbound side.
  • I-75 south ramp to CR 25A near Troy, ramp closed March 21 through Oct. 28. The official detour is I-75 south to SR 41 to I-75 north to CR 25A.

MERCER COUNTY

  • SR 117 between SR 118 and SR 127, bridge closed March 23 through May 7. The official detour is SR 118 to U.S. 33 to SR 127.

CLARK COUNTY

  • SR 41 between Titus Road/Ridge Road and Gateway Boulevard, lane closures until July 14. Traffic will be shifted to one side of the bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Districtwide chip and seal on Logan SR 287, Champaign SR 29, Champaign SR 245, Champaign SR 559 and Clark SR 41. Various lane closures until Sept. 30 between 7 a.m. and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

  • SR 560 between U.S. 36 and Stickley Road is closed until June 1. The detour is SR 29 to U.S. 36 to SR 560.
  • I-70 east and west between SR 41 and SR 54, overnight lane closures April 20 at 7 p.m. – April 21 at 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • I-70 east and west between SR 4 and Enon Road, overnight lane closures April 19 at 7 p.m. – April 20 at 6 a.m. One lane will remain open.
  • Districtwide chip and seal project on Logan SR 287, Champaign SR 29, Champaign SR 245, Champaign SR 559 and Clark SR 41. Various lane closures April 18 – Sept. 30 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction through the use of flaggers.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

  • Auglaize County – SR 66 between St. Marys Kossuth Road and Township Road 182, road closed until May 13. The official detour is SR 66 to SR 29 to SR 116 to SR 197 to SR 66.
  • SR 66 between South Park Drive and Quellhorst Road, bridge closed until June 1. The official detour: SR 219 to SR 29 to SR 116 to SR 197 to SR 66.

UPCOMING CLOSURES

  • Darke County — SR 47 between Greenlawn Avenue and Water Street, bridge closed June 14 – July 11. The detour is: U.S. 127 to SR 121 to SR 185.
