Huber Heights police responded to an alarm call at a smoke shop after a attempted break-in early Wednesday morning.
According to a release, officers were dispatched to an alarm at The Stogie Smoke Shop at 5789 Old Troy Pike around 3:15 a.m.
Police said they found broken glass and forced entry into the business, but nothing was taken.
Investigators said surveillance video showed a younger man appeared startled by the alarm and fled without taking anything.
The suspect was described as wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, light pants, and boots.
It was not immediately clear if this attempt was connected to an attempted break-in at Vandalia Range and Armory earlier Wednesday morning.
