Teen injured in Richmond shooting early Friday morning

RICHMOND, Ind. — Richmond police are investigating after a teenager was shot early Friday morning.

The shooting was reported just before 3 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 16th Street. The 18-year-old, identified as Aquavion Allen, of Richmond, had a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to Reid Health and is in stable condition, according to Richmond police.

Several juveniles and young adults were there when the shooting happened, but no arrests have been made, police said.
