OSHP: 3 people dead after head-on crash in Clermont County

TATE TOWNSHIP — Three people have died after a head-on-crash Sunday morning in Clermont County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol told our news partners WCPO in Cincinnati.

Crews were dispatched to the crash scene at around 8:52 a.m. at State Route 125 and South Bantam Road in Tate Township.

A 2016 Honda Civic was traveling Eastbound on State Route 125 when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2004 Toyota Corolla, OHSP says.

Debroah Mell, 66, was driving the Civic while Jeffrey Chapman, 35, was operating the Corolla, 34-year-old Racheal Miller was a passenger in Chapman’s car, WCPO reports.

All three people were pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash, according to WCPO.

Mell was wearing a seatbelt but Chapman and Miller were not, OHSP said.

The crash remains under investigation.
