3 people taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Shelby Co.

A two-vehicle crash occurred Friday around 5:30 p.m. on Sidney-Freyburg Road and OH-119.

Three people were taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, according to Sgt. Brad Pleiman.

The preliminary investigation stated a northbound SUV failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled out in front of another SUV. It is unknown if the driver was cited.

The driver of the northbound SUV was extracted from the vehicle with unknown injuries, and the two occupants of the other SUV suffered minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, and the roadway is back open.
