SPRINGBORO, Ohio — Springboro Schools announced late Tuesday afternoon that the district will be on full remote learning for two days following the Thanksgiving break.
The days that will be full remote will be Monday, Nov. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 1. This includes all grades in the district from PreK through 12.
District Supt. Larry Hook told parents in an email Tuesday that grades 6-12, all Model A and Model B students will be on the same schedule, which is remote learning.
Hook said, “Our hope is that the additional 48 hours, coupled with the three days following Thanksgiving Day, will allow symptoms to develop for any individual who may have been exposed to COVID-19 during the break. Students, teachers, and staff who are symptom-free will return to school on Dec. 2, 2020.”
The district told parents that information will be coming soon about how it will implement the remote learning. For more information regarding remote schedules can, please visit the following page: www.springboro.org/COVID-19Rresources.aspx.
