South Dixie Highway resurfacing project begins

WARREN COUNTY — Operations for a resurfacing project on South Dixie Highway will begin on Wednesday, July 21.

Single-lane restrictions will be placed on South Dixie Highway between the south corporate line of the City of Franklin and Riley Boulevard daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, July 30, according to a news release.

Traffic will be maintained with flaggers while crews are working.

The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded the $1 million project, which also includes pavement repair, asphalt overlay and striping.

All work is scheduled to be complete by the beginning of September this year, according to the release.
