Power restored to 1,300 in Clark County

Power has been restored to all affected customers, Ohio Edison reports.

Ohio Edison reports power has been restored to about 200 customers so far. A team is out making final repairs at the site, and the company hopes to have all customers restored by 4 p.m., Durbin said.

About 1,125 customers are still without power as of 3:15 p.m.

Over 1,300 electric customers in Clark County are currently without power.

Ohio Edison currently has 1,320 affected customers in the area of Leffel Lane, said Mark Durbin of Ohio First Energy.

He said the outage started around 1:30 pm.

Ohio Edison reports 1,280 customers affected in Springfield and about 40 in Springfield Twp., according to its online outage map.

Durbin said the company is looking into possible causes and when people can expect their power to be restored.
