DAYTON — UPDATE @ 8:10 p.m.
Crowds have dispersed as curfew goes in affect for all areas north of Stewart Street, south of the Great Miami River, west of Keowee Street, and east of I-75.
#Protests - We had a large group of protestors downtown today, who marched for a couple hours. The conduct of those who demonstrated showed the character of this community. They clearly communicated their concern for social justice & how we all need to be advocates for change.

Dump trucks block off Fifth and Wayne streets as well as the U.S. 35 on ramp from Wayne.
The crowd continues to grow, scene witnesses report.

Protesters are on Fifth Street near Lily’s Bistro.
Our crew on scene reports protesters remain off the roadways as officers keep them contained to the sidewalks.

A peaceful protest is underway at Third and Perry streets, according to the Dayton Police Department.

Our News Center 7 team reports West Second Street is partially blocked by police as protesters congregate in front of the Federal Building.
Restricted traffic flow downtown in anticipated this evening as an additional protest has been planned for 6 p.m.
