Pedestrian hit by vehicle on North Main Street in Dayton

DAYTON — Police were called to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian Monday night at the intersection of North Main Street and Santa Clara Avenue.

The crash was reported at the intersection just before 5 p.m. Monday.

According to dispatch records, the driver hit the victim, drove off, but later returned to the scene.

The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
