DAYTON — The opening of the ice rink at RiverScape MetroPark has been delayed indefinitely due to Montgomery County’s stay-at-home health advisory, according to a release.

“MetroParks is disappointed that the tradition of opening the ice rink the day after Thanksgiving will not be able to happen this year,” said Becky Benná, Executive Director of Five Rivers MetroParks.

The ice rink will remain closed until further notice, and Five Rivers MetroParks will work with the county health department to determine if opening this year is possible, according to the release.
