Vacant house fire on Kammer Ave.

A fire broke out at in the 1800 block of Kammer Avenue just before noon Tuesday. The vacant, one-story structure showed flames when firefighters arrived. They knocked down some of the flames on the back side of the home, then went into the front door.

Firefighters asked for an investigator, and DPL to be called. The fire was knocked down by about 12:15 p.m.
