Car fire near fuel pumps quickly extinguished

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a car fire that ignited near fuel pumps in Dayton.

Crews were dispatched to BP at 4024 West 3rd Street on a reported car fire adjacent to gas pumps around 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

Officials say the damage was contained to just the car, and fire did not spread to any part of the gas station.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
