John & Olivia’s Bed & Breakfast is located near the Hamner House, the boyhood home of “The Waltons” creator Earl Hamner Jr., according to WSLS-TV.

John and Olivia Walton are the head of the Walton TV family.

The new inn features five bedrooms and five bathrooms, and was designed after the famous Waltons house, barn and sawmill set on the backlot at the Burbank Studios in Burbank, California.

The inn’s grand opening is scheduled for Oct. 26 and former Waltons cast members are expected at the event, including Judy Norton, who played Mary Ellen, Kami Colter, who played Elizabeth, and Erin, played by Mary McDonough. WSLS reported Jon Walmsley and Eric Scott, who played Jason and Ben, respectively, are also on the guest list.

“The Waltons” ran for nine seasons from 1972-1981 and then inspired six made-for-TV movies.

Any true Waltons fan remembers the program’s famous closing lines when the family says good night to each as the credits roll. “Good night, John Boy. Good night, Mary Ellen.”
