NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — An Indiana woman is accused of leaving her two children unattended in a van parked in a Walmart lot, WXIN reported.
Liudmila V. Eaton, 40, of Noblesville, was charged with two counts of neglect of a dependent, which is a level 6 felony, the television station reported.
Police responded to a call Thursday afternoon of children left alone in a van, WTHR reported. Authorities found two children, ages 2 and 4, in the van, and the windows were open approximately 6 inches, the television station reported.
Both children were restrained in car seats in the 2009 Dodge Caravan, WTTV reported. Police said it was 88 degrees when they arrived at the van, the television station reported.
