More storms possible before break in heat, humidity

DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Skies will be mostly clear overnight and less humid, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will fall back into the middle 60s by morning.

Tuesday: Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with warm temperatures back in the upper 80s. While most will remain dry, there is a slight chance for a pop-up storm, mainly west of I-75 late in the day.

Wednesday: A cold front will bring more clouds and an increased threat for showers and storms by late in the day. Locally heavy rain will be possible with the stronger storms, along with gusty winds. Highs will reach into the middle 80s before the front pushes through the area.

Thursday: Skies will become partly cloudy to mostly sunny with more pleasant conditions. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Friday: Sunny skies and pleasant temperatures are in the forecast with highs in the middle 70s.

Saturday: Sunny and nice weather will continue to start the weekend. Highs will climb back to near 80 degrees.
