Fire causes significant damage to Xenia home

XENIA — No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a Xenia house Wednesday afternoon, according to firefighters.

The fire was reported in the 900 block of North Detroit around 12:20 p.m. First crews on the scene reported heavy flames and smoke were coming from the structure, initial reports indicate.

All occupants inside the house were able to make it out safely before firefighters arrived on scene, investigators said.

The cause of the blaze is unknown and remains under investigation.
