WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine to hold graduation Sunday

FAIRBORN — Medical graduates at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine will get to celebrate their commencement in-person Sunday.

120 medical students will graduate Sunday afternoon at the Wright State Nutter Center.

The university announced in a press release that graduates will participate in the traditional hooding ceremony and will also take the professional oath to mark the beginning of the medical careers. They will also sign a registry to commemorate each of their first use of the initials M.D. following their names.

A limited number of guests will be in attendance. Similarly, a limited number of faculty and administrators will be allowed on stage.

All attendees will be required to wear a mask, even if they are fully vaccinated.

The ceremony will be live streamed at https://www.wright.edu/streaming, as well as the university’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
