The Raider Food Pantry’s new location will enable the service to serve more students in need.

“We’re a choice pantry, we don’t just hand you a bag when you come in, we actually let you choose what you want from the shelves,” said Joanna Evans, Raider Food Pantry Coordinator.

The pantry was created after a survey found 48 percent of students had experienced food insecurity while at Wright State.

So far this year, the pantry has served 214 students or the equivalent to 441 household members.
