UPDATE: Indiana woman identified as victim of deadly crash in Sidney Sunday

SIDNEY — An Indiana woman died at an area hospital from her injuries after a two-vehicle crash on state Route 47 in Sidney Sunday, according to police.

Pamela Hite, 73, of Huntington, Indiana was identified police as the victim killed in the crash on state Route 47 near Fourth Avenue Sunday around 10:20 a.m., investigators said in a crash report.

Pamela was the passenger in a 2019 GMC SUV that ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck, police said in the report.

The driver of the SUV, identified as James Hite, 75, of Huntington, Indiana, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Wilson Health in Sidney for treatment.

The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Randall Magoto, 50, of Fort Loramie, was not injured in the crash.

Potential factors in the crash were not released and were still under investigation.
