Thursday: Snow likely in the morning will lead to some slick roads for the morning commute. A light accumulation of a coating to ½ inch in spots is possible before lunchtime.

Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 4 to 10 a.m. for Randolph County, Indiana.

Temperatures for the day will vary from north to south, with highs generally near the middle 30s for Dayton.

Most areas along and south of Interstate 70 will warm into the upper 30s and see some light rain showers during the afternoon. Further north, Champaign, Darke, Logan, Mercer and Shelby counties may stay all snow with some locally higher snow totals, perhaps an inch or two, before the snow wraps up into the evening.

A few flurries or snow showers may return after midnight as winds turn out of the northwest. Refreeze is likely as temperatures fall below freezing Thursday night.
