Overnight: It will remain breezy with gusts up to 20 mph at times. Temperatures will hover around 30 degrees, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said. Wind chills will be in the teens and 20s first thing in the morning.

New Year's Eve: Expect a cold, blustery day on Tuesday with highs in the middle to upper 30s and wind chills near 20 degrees. From morning to midday, skies will be cloudy with scattered light snow showers. Snow accumulations of less than half an inch are possible, especially to the north of Interstate 70. Snow showers come to an end in the afternoon, and the evening will remain frigid and mostly cloudy with wind chills in the teens.

New Year's Day: Wednesday will be chilly with mostly sunny skies. While winds will relax a bit, expect an infrequent breeze.

Temperatures will climb back above normal for New Year’s Day with highs in the lower 40s.

Thursday: Clouds are to increase with a chance for rain arriving later in the day.

Highs will climb into the mid-50s.

Friday: Friday will be mostly warm with a chance for showers. The afternoon will become breezy as highs reach the mid-50s.

Saturday: Expect cloudy skies and scattered rain showers with possibility of snow mixed in time to time; possibly ending as snow showers with no accumulation.

Winds will be gusty as temperatures find their way into the lower 40s.

Sunday: Morning clouds will give way to an afternoon of gradual sunshine and breeze.

Temperatures will remain in the lower 40s.
