7 windows reported broken at rectory behind Dayton church

Police are investigation a vandalism at a Dayton church rectory.

Someone threw rocks and broke seven windows at the rectory behind the Holy Family Catholic Church, 140 S. Findlay St., according to a police incident report.

The incident happened between 3 p.m. on Easter and 7 p.m. Monday.

The priest of the church said “this is an ongoing problem” and that he’s made multiple police reports.

This is at least the fifth place of worship in Dayton that has reported broken windows and other vandalism.
