WHIO Reports: What would State Issue 1 do?

This edition of WHIO Reports will focus on State Issue One. It will be the only statewide issue on the ballot in Ohio in November.

It’s a plan to reduce the penalties for some drug offenses and move more money toward treatment for drug offenders. This is a proposed constitutional amendment, placed on the ballot by petition.
