This evening: Expect mostly cloudy skies this evening with a chance to see showers and thunderstorms, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Molly Coates. A few storms may be on the strong to severe side with damaging winds, heavy downpours and lightning. Temperatures will fall through the 80s.

Sunday: There will be partly sunny skies with hot and breezy conditions as highs reach the low 90s (Heat Index of 96). There is also a chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon hours.
