Male found in car near firehouse in downtown Dayton taken to hospital

UPDATE @ 9:45 p.m.: A male in a car found stopped at North Main Street and Monument Avenue in downtown Dayton has been taken to a hospital.

His condition is not known, police said.

A police officer on patrol spotted the four-door sedan, which is believed to have come to a stop after bumping a snow bank at a “Road Closed” sign near a Dayton firehouse in the 300 block of North Main.

Police have several streets blocked in downtown Dayton because of a vehicle that is stopped near a Dayton firehouse.

The accident was reported at North Main Street and Monument Avenue just after 6 p.m.
